Judith Therese (Marcec) Filippo

Judith Therese Filippo, nee Marcec, age 91, passed away peacefully at home in Glenmoore, PA, surrounded by her family, on April 14, 2024.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 27, 1933, Judith was the daughter of John Marcec and Katherine (nee Floryance), the seventh of nine children.  The family moved to Chicago when Judy was three years old, and this was where she grew up and was married.  Eventually, the family moved to South Holland and in 1976, they moved to Yardley, Pennsylvania, where Judy lived until her incapacitation.  

She is preceded in death by her husband Elio and her son Christopher, as well as all eight of her siblings.  She is survived by her daughter Diane Toler (Rick) of Glenmoore, son Nicholas (Barbara) of Villanova, and daughter Laura of Yardley, as well as eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday April 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Chapel, 454 Fairfield Rd., Plymouth Meeting, PA.  Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery, 3215 Manor Road, Coatesville, PA.
