Ann M Conln

Anne M. Conlon, 82, at Paoli Memorial Hospital on Thursday, September 24, 2009. Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 20, 1927, she was the only daughter of the late Thomas and Anne (Campbell) Conlon. A former Walnut Street resident, Ann had resided with her beloved dog Brandi, at Timberlake Apartments, East Norriton, since 2005. She met Mirria and Michael Kitei while walking her dog and an instant friendship grew. The Kitei's became family. Ann and Michael shared a common love for the Phillies and Eagles. Michael often commented that Ann knew more about sports than anyone he knew. Recently Ann moved to Regatta Apartments, Sandy Hill Road. She was a graduate of Hallahan HS, retired in 1985, after more than 40 years at the former Bell Telephone Co. where she worked in the billing department and was a member of the Bell Tel Pioneers. Also a member of Holy Saviour Church, their senior group, ladies guild, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Sodality and Padre Pio prayer group. She was very devoted to the church and for 17 years prepared the linens for mass and also sent monthly alter flowers. She is survived by her loving dog Brandi, Mirria and Michael Kitei her "adopted" family, and her longtime friend Peggy (Tomasello) Parker and other wonderful friends from her prayer and church group. She will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at 10AM, Tuesday, Sept 29, 2009, at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E Main St., Norristown, PA where friends will also be received from 9 to 9:50AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken to follow.
