Ann Piccirilli

Ann (Silvestrini) Piccirilli, 88, of Black Horse, died at her home on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. Born May 27, 1923 in Conshohocken, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stella (Silvestini) and Mariano Silvestrini, and wife of Carmen Piccirilli. Mrs. Piccirilli was a longtime Holy Saviour Church member, belonging to the Sodality of Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel (Black Horse) and the St. Rita Sodality of SS Cosmas & Damian (Conshohocken). She was an ace tailor, making alot of the clothes for her family and while working during the war effort made military uniforms while employed with Hart Shaffner & Marks, retiring from Jacob Reeds in 1986, She also made swim suits for the Jantzen company. She was an auxiliary member of the CBC Club, and volunteered at the Coatesville VA Hospital, and was past secretary of the Andrew J Lanutti VFW Post. In addition to her many volunteer activities, she took care of her family and this coming February would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Survivors include 2 daughters: Lorretta (Joe) Bondra, of Conshohocken, and their children Michael, Carmen, Joseph III; Patricia (Michael) Marchese, of Jeffersonville, and their children Gina and Stephen; 9 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-great grandchild; and brother, Mario Silvestrini, of Brigantine, NJ. The family will receive relatives and friends on Fri., Nov. 11, 2011 from 7-9 pm & Sat., Nov. 12, 2011 from 8:30 - 9:30 am, at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Streets, Ntn, PA. Funeral Mass to follow at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E Main St., Norristown, PA. Interment St. Patrick's Cem., DeKalb Pk, E. Norriton, PA. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Holy Saviour Church at the above address.
