Anna Gambone

Anna (Sandor) Gambone, 83, of Norristown, PA on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Rittenhouse Pine Center. Born in Norristown, PA April 11, 1926, she was the wife of the late Robert A. Gambone, Sr. and daughter of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Roberto) Sandor. Mrs. Gambone was a member of Holy Saviour Church, enjoyed traveling to the casinos and watching the bocce games at the Norristown Bocce league in Elmwood Park. Survivors include daughter, Roseanne Elliott, of Norristown, son Richard & Colleen (Gulotta) Gambone, of E Norriton, daughter in law, Linda (Daley) Gambone, of Collegeville; grandchildren Robert & Anne (DelRosso) Gambone, III, Marc Gambone, Rickey & Stacy (Ciccanti) Elliott, Robin Elliott, Stephanie Gambone, Kimberlie Gambone, Kelly Gambone, Renee Elliott, Kristen Gambone, Nicole Gambone; Great-Grandchildren, Robby Gambone, IV, Nicholas Gambone, Elaina Gambone, Rickey Joseph 'RJ' Elliott, and Lucas Elliott; sisters Palma Wawrzak and Margaret 'Sally' Monaco, both of Norristown, sister in law, Catherine Sandor, of Bridgeport; brother in law, Jesse & Betty Gambone, of Norristown, sister in law, Gloria Scandone, of Bridgeport and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert 'Bobby' Gambone, Jr.; son in law, Rick Elliott, Sr.; siblings Rose Imperial, Joseph 'Pepe' Sandor, Mary Romberger, Samuel Sandor, Charles Sandor, Anthony 'Jr' Sandor; and brother in law, Rosario Gambone and Gerald Gambone. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA. Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM from Holy Saviour Church, 407 E Main St., Ntn., PA. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dekalb Pike, E. Norriton, PA.
