Anna R Conners

Anna R. (Couchara) Conners, 78, of Norristown died Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Phila, Pa. Born July 9, 1934 in Norristown, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Josephine (Bilella) and Philip Couchara, and wife of William J. Conners, Sr. A devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Conners was a very active member of St. Paul Church, longtime president of the ladies auxiliary, Eucharistic minister, and was a member of many prayer groups maintaining a lifelong commitment to prayer for those in need. She also enjoyed cooking, bowling, and playing cards with her friends. Survivors include children: William J. (Rosanna) Conners, Jr., and children Alexandra, Billy, Victoria and Jacqueline, of W. Chester; Charles J. (Joanne) Conners, Sr., and children Chuckie, Jr., Sean, Carli and Kelly, of Collegeville; Sandy (Tom, Sr.) Grady, and children Tommy and Erynn, of Audubon; Kelly (Ray) Ford, and children Evan and Daniel, of E. Norriton; Jo-Ann (Tom) Bonanno, and children Olivia, Thomas, Sophie and Talia, of Skippack; siblings: Vincent A. (Elaine) Couchara, of Tampa, FL; and Marie Milito, of Norristown; sisters in law, Kay (Dan) (Conners) Allerton, of Bridgeport; and Mary (Richard) (Conners) Lawn, of No. Wales; and many nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter Mary, and twin brother Charles. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, from 9 - 10:45 am, at St .Paul RC Church, 2007 New Hope Street, Norristown, Pennsylvania. Funeral Mass to follow at 11 am. Burial St. Patrick's Cem, 2400 DeKalb Pk, E. Norriton, PA. The family would appreciate contributions be made to the Macula Vision Research Foundation, 100 Front St., W. Conshohocken, PA 19428.
