Anna Romano

Anna Romano, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 3, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Born on February 12, 1938, in Casalduni Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni & Carmela Romano.

In her spare time Anna enjoyed the outdoors, she would take frequent walks through her neighborhood and spend time outside looking after her fig tree.  Anna also enjoyed visiting with friends, and watching sports with her family whenever she had the opportunity.  But most of all she cherished the time she was able to spend with her family.  She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.

She is survived by her two loving sisters, Concetta Borzillo, and Esterina Mastrocola; eight nieces and nephews, Frank (Jennifer), Loretta (John), Emilio (Wendy), Gianpiero (Debbie), Maria (Joe), Iolanda (Dominic), Carmelo (Lenora), and Daniela (Matt), and extended family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Frank Romano, and her sister Frances “Franca” DiBattista.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Anna on Friday January 9, 2026, from 9:00AM-10:00AM at the Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St. Norristown, PA 19401.  Mass will follow the viewing at 10:00AM at the church.  Burial will take place in the St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial trees may be planted in memory of Anna.  Funeral arrangements are in care of the Caramenico Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.
