Anna (D’Onofrio) Pigeon Obituary

Anna (D’Onofrio) Pigeon, 67, of East Norriton passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Born on August 23, 1957 in Prata, Italy she was the daughter of Alfonso & Antonietta D’Onofrio, and the loving wife of John “Jack” Pigeon.

In addition to her beloved husband, Anna is survived by her loving children, Jonathan Pigeon, Justin Pigeon, his fiancé Kimberly, and of course, her four-legged son Rocky. Anna is also survived by her brother, Florindo D’Onofrio; Nieces, Salina, Shelly, and their children, Saydi, Sonny, and Enzo; Furthermore, Anna is survived by her extended family in Italy (The D’Onofrio’s, Lombardo’s, Freda’s, and Lepore’s)

Anna worked for over 30 years as a manager for the Buckley Pharmacy Gift Shop, until her retirement. Throughout her career, she was well respected for her attention to detail, impeccable work ethic, and the ability to bring life to a room. In her spare time, Anna enjoyed traveling to the shore with her family, shopping at the local yard sales, gardening, and cooking.  Anna took numerous trips to Italy to visit family and friends in Prata, Massa Carrera, and Avellino whenever she had the opportunity; She also made time to visit her favorite place, Capri, where she could spend quality time at the beach, and walk the Piazzetta.

Anna was always positive, caring, and hospitable to everyone she knew and loved. She enjoyed entertaining guests, and would constantly make sure people were happy, and well-fed. Her loving and selfless nature was something that made her so special, she was the heart and soul of the Pigeon household.  No matter the distance, she always took the time to reach out and communicate with everyone, whether it was a goodnight text to her sons, or an hour long conversation with a childhood friend. She also had a very close relationship with her brother, Florindo, who she spoke with almost every day. Most importantly, Anna set the standard for what it takes to be an amazing mother, as she offered endless support, advice, and the occasional reality check.

Most of all, Anna cherished the time she was able to spend with her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her, she will be incredibly missed.

A celebration of life for Anna will be held at a later date, and is to be announced. Arrangements are in care of the Caramenico Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.  Please visit www.CaramenicoFuneralHome.comfor more information and to leave condolences.
