Anne M. (Puche) Zurek

Anne M. (Puche) Zurek, 92 of East Norriton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the Einstein medical center Montgomery surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 4, 1931 in Norristown she was the daughter of the late William & Anne (Ripnak) Puche, and the wife of the late Charles Zurek who passed away October 14, 2007 to whom she was married for 49 years.

Anne was a graduate of Norristown High School class of 1950.  She was a secretary in the trust department of the former Montgomery County Bank & Trust Co.  In her spare time Anne enjoyed her trips to Peddler's Village, and vacationing at the shore and the outer banks with her family.  She was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, and her family and friends knew not to disturb her when she was watching the game.  

Anne is survived by her son, Charles W. Zurek and his wife Michele (Pennypacker) Zurek; and her daughter, Christine A. Zurek, wife of George Heidler. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Anne on Friday a September 6, 2024 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church, 600 Hamilton St. Norristown, PA 19401.  Mass will follow the viewing at 11:00AM at the church. Burial will take place in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, East Norriton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anne’s memory to the St. Francis of Assisi Church, Norristown PA.
