Anthony 'AC' Clementi

Anthony G. Clementi, 59, of Blue Bell, PA at Montgomery Hospital, Norristown, PA, on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Born November 9, 1949 in Norristown, PA he was the husband of Dottie (Bontcue) and son of the late Anthony and Lena (Valentine) Clementi. Mr. Clementi, known as 'AC', was a 1968 graduate of the former AD Eisenhower HS, a 40+ year employee of the US Postal service, retiring in 2006. He was the founder and leader of the Norristones, a well known accapella group. He was a former youth football coach, with the JayCees (1973), Holy Saviour CYO (1974-75), Bishop Kenrick HS (1976-82); and was a member of Al's Cold cuts Softball Team, during their championship run during the 1980's. He was also a member of Holy Saviour Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Lisa (Mike) Malinowski, of Trooper; Adrienne and Anthony Clementi, both of Blue Bell; 3 grandchildren: Lena, MJ, Ethan; sister, Jeannine (Dan) Smith, Plymouth Meeting; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Angel Clementi. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, 7 - 9 pm & Wednesday, April 15, 2009, 8:30 - 10:30 am at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA. Funeral Mass to follow in Holy Saviour Church, 407 E Main Street, Norristown, PA on April 15, 2009, at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, E Norriton, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in his memory to Holy Saviour Church, 409 E. Main St., Ntn., PA 19401 and/or the American Diabetes Assoc., One Plymouth Meeting, Suite 520, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
