Anthony Cicippio

Anthony Cicippio, 86, formerly of Norristown and West Norriton in Harleysville on Friday, March 16, 2012, at Birches @ Arbour Square, Harleysville, PA. Born July 22, 1925 in Norristown, PA, he was the son of the late Felicia (Sangiacomo) and Antonio Cicippio, and husband of the late Frances (DiCiccio) Cicippio. Mr. Cicippio, a resident of the Birches for the past year, was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish; a WW II Army veteran; and was a retiree of PECO, a customer service representative for their new home area. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include son, Anthony (Diane) Cicippio; daughter, Maria (Charles) Smeykal, both of Collegeville; grandchildren: Tony & Nicole Cicippio and Catherine & Steven Smeykal; a sister, Anna (Gerald) Pascale, of West Norriton. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 10 - 10:45 am, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1100 W. Marshall St., Ntn., PA with funeral Mass to follow at 11 am. Entombment St. Patrick's Cem. Mausoleum, DeKalb Pk, E. Norriton, PA. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Assoc., Del. Val. Chpt., 339 Market St., Ste 102, Phila., PA 19106.
