Armando Delli Gatti

Armando Delli Gatti, 80, of Norristown, PA on June 26, 2010 at Mercy Suburban Hospital. Born in Nusco, Italy, June 13, 1930, he was the husband of Violanda (Delli Gatti) and son of the late Maria (Condurso) and Angelo Delli Gatti. Prior to his arrival in this country in 1973, he retired from the Italian railroad company. He was employed at the former Conte Luna Co. retiring in 1993, was a member of Holy Saviour Church, and was married for over 58 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 4 children: Maria (Franco) Marano, East Norriton, Angelo Delli Gatti, of Norristown, Carmine (Denise) Delli Gatti, of Gilbertsville, and Rosetta Negron, Norristown; sister, Assunta Delli Gatti, of Italy; and 6 grandchildren: Alberto Marano, Tina (Mike) Connor, Laura Delli Gatti, Amanda Delli Gatti, Lauren Negron, Kristina Negron; along with 25 nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 siblings: Stefano Delli Gatti, Giuseppina Della Vecchia, Antonio Delli Gatti, Rafaelo Delli Gatti, Carmela Mongelli, and Rachela Natale. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, July 01, 7- 9 pm & Friday, July 02, 8:30 - 9:15 am at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA. Funeral Mass at Holy Saviour Church at 9:30 AM. Entombment St. Patrick's Cem. Mausoleum, E Norriton., PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Holy Saviour Church 407 E Main St. Norristown, PA 19401 and/or the American Cancer Society 1626 Locust Street Phila., PA 19103
