Audrey Gambone

Audrey (Debro) Gambone, 79, of Norristown on Monday, December 6, 2010, at the Albert Einstein Med. Ctr., Phila., PA. Born November 3, 1931 in Bridgeport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Highley) and George Debro, and wife of Joseph J Gambone Sr. Mrs. Gambone was a School Crossing Guard for over 37 years in Norristown. She was also an avid sports fan of all the Phila sport teams, a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, a former cub scout den mother, enjoyed reading and her friends card club. Besides her husband, she is survived by 4 children: twin sons Robin (Mary Grace) Gambone of Wapwallopon, PA, and Robert Gambone of Norristown, PA; Joseph J. (Carol) Gambone, Jr.; Carmelita Gambone of Norristown, PA; 6 Grandchildren: Robert Gambone Jr., Jeremy Gambone, Carol (Chris) Canfield, Constance Gambone, JJ Gambone, and Tommy Gambone. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 2 siblings: Ernie and Gordon Debro. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 10:00 am - 11:30 am at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA. Services will follow at 11:30 am at the funeral home. Burial St. Augustine's Cem., Dekalb Pike, Upper Merion Twp PA.
