Barbara A. Ciaccio

Barbara A. Ciaccio, 64, of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 4, 1960, in Norristown, Barbara was the beloved wife of Kevin P. Ciaccio and the daughter of Joan Cahill (Sanatoga) and the late Gerald J. Silks (Norristown), and the late John “Jack” Cahill (Norristown).

Barbara was married to Kevin, the love of her life, for over 47 years. They shared many wonderful life events, including trips to the Jersey Shore and her most memorable trip to Hawaii. Barbara was a devoted mother who took great pride in raising her two children, Kevin and Jennifer. She lived her life to the fullest and brought joy to those around her.

Barbara was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be deeply missed by many. She is also survived by her son, Kevin P. Ciaccio Jr., and her siblings: Marie “Kathy” Bleiler, Cheryl DeGrazio, Joanne Silks, Gerald Silks (Deborah), Mary Mandia (Mark), Patricia Pforter, and Michael Silks (Jeanine). Barbara is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Ciaccio; her father, Gerald; her stepfather, Jack; and brothers-in-law Fred Bleiler and Randy Pforter.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Barbara on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 714 Dekalb Street, Norristown, PA 19401. A funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the church, followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery, Norristown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara’s memory to the Autism Foundation, 2701 Little Elm Parkway, Ste. 100-513, Little Elm, TX 75068.
