Betsy A. (Rambo) Knerr, a lifelong Audubon resident, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025 at 9:30 AM surrounded by her loving family. She was 82 years old. Betsy was born on December 11, 1942 to the late Jerry K. & Marion (Baldwin) Rambo in Norristown and she was the loving wife of Philip L. Knerr, her best friend, whom she married on October 13, 1962 and together they shared 62 years of marriage.
Betsy was a graduate of Norristown Area High School. She would later go on to work as a seamstress, and sewed and lettered sports apparel for Schuylkill Valley Sports for 34 years before retiring. In her spare time she enjoyed watching the wildlife around her home and working outside in her garden. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren's sporting events whenever she had the opportunity. But most of all she cherished the time she was able to spend with her beloved family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Stephen (Jacqueline), of Limerick, a daughter, Dawn (Jeff) Doherty, of North Carolina, a brother, Robert (Carol) Rambo, of Audubon, and a sister-in-law, Paula Knerr, of Shippensburg. Betsy is also survived by her four grandchildren, Stevie, Savannah, Spencer and Hunter, whom she loved very much, and her three nephews.
