Carmela Valerio

Carmela Valerio, 91, of King Of Prussia on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Manor Care Nursing Center, King of Prussia, PA. Born August 12, 1920 in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Maria (Valerio) and Antonio Valerio. Ms. Valerio was a longtime Bridgeport resident residing with her late brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Nataline "Dolly" (Caramenico) Valerio on Holstein street. She was employed with the former Philco Ford, Lansdale in the electronics division as a radio tech; a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church; enjoyed traveling to the casinos, travel and shopping. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Joseph, Michael, Frank, Ralph, Rose Piazza and Lena Branca. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 9:15 - 9:45 am, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Ford & Union Sts., Bridgeport, PA, with Funeral Mass at 10 am. Burial to follow in St. Augustine's Cemetery, DeKalb Pike, Upper Merion Twp., PA.
