Catherine Catagnus

Catherine D. Catagnus, of Norristown, PA died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Montgomery Hospital. She was 90. Born in Bridgeport, PA February 20, 1921, she was the wife of the late Philip Catagnus and daughter of the late Anthony and Helena (Benassi) Testa . Catherine was a very caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and cherished her family overall. Catherine was very much loved and will be dearly missed. Catherine is survived by two sons; Philip (Patricia) Catagnus of Richardson, TX, and James (Joan) Catagnus of Plymouth Meeting, PA; One daughter Linda (Armondo) Luzi of East Norriton, PA; 5 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren. Catherine is also predeceased by one brother and one sister; Victor DiLoia and Gloria Dewees. Services will be held at the St. Titus Church, 3006 Keenwood Rd. East Norriton, PA 19401 Thursday morning at 10:30am. Friends and family will be received from 9:00am - 10:30am at the church. Officiating will be the Rev. Thomas P. Kletzel. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105; The Pennsylvania SPCA (PSPCA), 350 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia.
