Charles "Kingie" Mandrachia, 86, of East Norriton, died Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Montgomery Hospital. Born in Norristown, PA July 9, 1923, he was the husband of Charlotte (Schaffer) and son of the late Michael and Rose (Deliberto) Mandrachia. Mr. Mandrachia was a contractor and had been employed by PECO in their gas line department and the Markel Corp. He was a WW II Army veteran, member of Holy Saviour Church and Senior Citizens Group, Catholic War Veterans Post 1182, and the MSS Club. His hobby was homing pigeons and he was active with the America Homing Pigeon Assoc. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Michael Mandrachia, of King of Prussia; sisters: Lillian Ragusa, of Norristown, and Frances (Rudy) DiGiacomo, of Plymouth Meeting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Frank, Samuel, Simmons, Phillip Mandrachia; and sisters: Josephine Tornetta and Mary Santangelo. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, December 04, 2009, from 8:20 - 9:20 AM at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E Main St., Ntn., PA. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 AM. Entombment St. Patrick's Cemetery Mausoleum, Dekalb Pike, E. Norriton, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Holy Saviour Church at the above address.
