Charles P. Kozitzky, Jr., 91, of Hilltown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at his home. Born on August 6, 1934 at the family home in Hilltown, he was the youngest son of the late Charles Sr. and Justina Kozitzky. He was also the beloved husband to the late Emily “Millie” Kozitzky who preceded him in death on August 12, 2025. At the time of their passing they had been married over 67 years.
Aside from a stint serving in the U.S. Army at a post in the Panama Canal Zone, he and his wife spent the entirety of their lives in Hilltown Township. After leaving the service on an honorable discharge, he began a career as a tool and die maker at the former Leeds & Northrop in North Wales. While there he was a proud member of UAW Local 1350 for over 27 years.
Following his retirement, he and his wife enjoyed dining out with family and friends. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed rooting for all the Philly pro sports teams. He also expressed a special fondness for Temple football and basketball, rarely missing a game on television. However, his biggest passion was visiting garage and yard sales, all with his wife reluctantly in tow.
Charles especially cherished the time spent with both family and his former classmates from Deep Run Valley High School’s Class of 1952. Shortly before his passing he could frequently be seen perusing his high school yearbook and sharing the memories therein. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle.
Mr. Kozitzky is survived by his two sons, Charles Kozitzky III (Mary) and Steven Kozitzky (Cindy); five grandchildren (Taylor, Natalie, Mia, Alex and Evan) and one sister (Mary).
In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Mr. Kozitzky was preceded in death by his siblings Anthony, Anna, Michael, John, Lillie and twin sister Olga.
The family would also like to express a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Gentiva Hospice for all their love and support during their time in home hospice.
