Charlotte Josephine (Catania) Proietto

Charlotte Josephine (Catania) Proietto, 91, of Fort Lauderdale,Florida, and formerly of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 21, 2024. Born in Norristown on September 6, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo & Mary (Gulino) Catania.

Charlotte, a graduate of Norristown High School, was employed by the Quaker Chemical Corporation for over 30 years.Charlotte was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.

Charlotte is survived by her two children, Louis Proietto (Dee) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Donna Phillips (Matthew) of Devon, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Katie Moses (Bobby), Christopher Phillips, Matthew Phillips, and Justin Proietto; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her siblings, Russell Catania, James Catania, Rose Gulotta, Josephine Milito, Frances Mirabile, Lena Catania, Antonio Catania and Anthony Catania. 

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Charlotte on Friday January 17, 2025 from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM at the Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St. Norristown, PA 19401. Mass will follow the calling time at 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will take place in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, East Norriton.
