Donna Cimino

Donna Lasorda Cimino, of Franconia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Grand View, St Luke’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 28, 1942, in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Esther Lasorda.

Donna lived a life devoted to family, faith, and helping others. She was actively involved at St. Bede's Church, where she played at the guitar Mass and taught CCD. Throughout her life, she shared her passion for coaching, swimming, softball and field hoc. Donna later opened a drop-in referral center in Newtown, Bucks County, which led to the founding of Reaching At Problems, also known as RAP, an organization she served as President of for more than 30 years. Through her dedication and leadership, she helped countless teenage girls build brighter futures. In addition to her service to others, Donna enjoyed music and performed with her band, Remember When. She concluded her working career at the Walmart Vision Center, where she continued working well into her seventies.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Donna (Kevin) Loughran; her son, Edward Cimino Jr.; her
granddaughters, Stefani Dividock and Katelyn Loughran; her grandsons, Daniel Loughran and Timothy Marren; her beloved great-grandson, Carter Dividock; and her sister, Esther Dalicandro.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Monday June 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Maria Goretti Church, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, PA 19440. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will take place in the at St. John Neumann Cemetery.
