Donna M. Parisi, 74, of Phoenixville, formerly of Plymouth Meeting, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 5, 2025,surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born on January 8, 1950, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Anthony D. Parisi, Sr. & Dorothy (McDevitt) Parisi.
Donna graduated from William Tennant High School in Warminster and attended Bucks County Community College, as well as the Chestnut Hill College where she would graduate. She began her career at the American Electronic Laboratories, Inc. in Lansdale in 1979. Later, she would go on to become the founder of Donna’s Day Care which she operated from 1985-1992. Donna retired in 2011 as the President of Tot-Time Child Development Centers, Inc. Donna was involved in many political, church and community organizations such as the Nativity of Our Lord Choir, the Holy Saviour Choir, the Union League Glee Club, Generation Life Board Member, the Americans of Italian Heritage, the Montgomery County Council of Republican Women, and the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society.
Some of her achievements include the 2004 NRCC Businesswomen of the year, RNC Eisenhower Commission Award, Pennsylvania’s 50 Best Women in Business Award, the National Italian American PAC Lifetime Achievement Award, Manchester’s Who’s Who 2003-2004, the Heritage Registry Who’s Who 2005-2006, and the Madison’s Who’s Who Lifetime Member. However, above all these achievements, Donna most cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and dear friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.
Donna is survived by her three loving children, Tracie L. Costello (David), Jennifer A. Huelas (Billy), and Robert T. Bongarzone; Three siblings, Anthony D. Parisi, Jr. (Jane), Robert A. Parisi (Judy), and Lynne Mannon (Raymond); Nine beloved grandchildren, Daniel McDevitt, Justin Gilbert, Kirsten Parris, Shane Howells, Shannon McNally, Patrick McNally, Mary Kate McNally, Michael McNally, and Sean McNally; and her great-granddaughter Avery Rae. Donna is also survived by her devoted partner of 12 years, John Andrikanich.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Donna on Tuesday January 14, 2025 from 9:00AM-11:00AM at the Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St. Norristown, PA 19401. Mass will follow the viewing at 11:00AM at the church. Burial will follow at the Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery located at 2400 Valley Forge Park Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406. A luncheon at Aronimink Golf Club located at 3600 St. Davids Road, Newtown Square, PA 19073 will conclude the day. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Donna to The Sisters of Saint Joseph Center, 728 E. Allegheny Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19134.
