Dorris Jane (Watters) Wolfrom

Dorris Jane Wolfrom, 95, formerly of Collegeville, died on June 29, 2025, at the Parkhouse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Royersford, PA. She was born in Norristown, PA, on June 5, 1930, to the late LeRoy J. Watters, Sr. and Hannah (Reynolds) Watters. She is preceded in death by her two sons, Darryl Loring Wolfrom (8/18/1990) and Edward Joseph Wolfrom, Jr. (9/11/2024).

A graduate of Lower Merion High School (Class of 1948), Dorris married young and raised her family while working multiple jobs to provide and persevere through life’s challenges. She was tenacious, faithful, and hardworking, ultimately building a long and respected career as an Accountant at Archibald Allen in Conshohocken, where she worked until the age of 70½. Dorris had a lifelong passion for the arts. She was an accomplished pianist, a published poet, and a member of her church chorus. She will be remembered for her strong spirit, her bold honesty, her unwavering faith, and the many lives she touched with her love, devotion, and lifelong support.

Family and friends are invited to attend the graveside services for Dorris on July 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery, 200 S. Montgomery Ave. Norristown, PA 19401.  Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Caramenico Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Norristown, PA.
