Emily "Millie" Kozitzky Obituary

Emily “Millie” Kozitzky, 90, of Hilltown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at her home.  Born on November 23, 1934 at the family farm in Hilltown, she was the youngest child of the late William L. & Viola (Moyer) Lewis.  She was married to Charles P. Kozitzky, Jr., with whom they shared over 67 years of marriage.

Millie and Charles were both graduates of Deep Run Valley High School, Class of 1952.  As lifelong members of the school’s reunion committee, they shared cherished experiences with their former classmates up until their passing.

Millie began working at Schulmerich Carillons in Sellersville shortly after high school.  Once married, she served dutifully as a homemaker to her husband and sons. She later returned to Schulmerich to the exact same job that she once left and continued there until her retirement more than 20 years later.

She was devoted to her Christian faith and was one of the oldest members of St. Peter’s Covenant Church.  Millie was always willing to lend a helping hand to those that were in need.  Her generosity and loyalty were unmatched.  Overall, she was a woman of action more than words.

More than anything, Millie cherished the time she was able to spend with her family.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a dear friend to all who knew her.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her two sons, Charles Kozitzky III (Mary) and Steven  Kozitzky (Cindy) along with her grandchildren Taylor, Natalie, Mia, Alex and Evan.  She was predeceased by three brothers (R. Leonard, William R. and Arthur M. Lewis) and four sisters; Genette McKay, Gertrude Haas, Elizabeth “Sis” Godshall and Mary Ellen Nyce.
