Gail Lenhardt

Gail (Strunk) Lenhardt, 68, formerly of East Norriton and Limerick, PA on Friday, January 22, 2010 at the Embracing Hospice, Snellville, Ga. Born in Reading, PA April 2, 1941, she was the wife of the late Oliver F. Lenhardt, who died in 2002, and daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Heckman) Strunk. Mrs. Lenhardt grew up and attended Reading schools, was a former East Norriton and Limerick resident before moving with her daughter to Monroe, GA in 200?. She was a Philadelphia sports fan of all the major teams, especially the World Series champion Phillies. A 1959 graduate of Reading HS, she had worked for the Travelers Insurance Co. in Reading, PA where she met her husband and was married in 1961. Surviving are 3 children: Stephen (Deanne) Lenhardt, and their children Daniel and Elyse, of East Norriton, PA; Cheryl (Peter) Cassidy, and daughter Rebecca, of Monroe, GA; and Susan (Tom) McMonigle, and children Tommy, Ryan and Andrew, of Audubon, PA. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday evening, Jan. 28, 2010 from 7 - 9 PM at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA. Memorial services will follow at 9 PM at the funeral home. Burial of her ashes in Riverside Cemetery, West Norriton, PA will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
