George Harry Schiele, Jr.

George Harry Schiele, Jr., 83 of Norristown passed away peacefully on Friday August 8, 2025 at the South Eastern Veteran Center in Spring City, PA.  Born on March 5, 1942 in Norristown, he was the son of the late Laura Mary Valentine & George Schiele, Sr.

Mr. Schiele graduated from Norristown Area High School in 1960.  George worked for many years as the owner and operator of Schiele’s Auto Sales & Services Center in Norristown until his retirement.  Mr. Schiele had a passion for cars and automotive work and you could always find him working at his shop whenever he had the opportunity.  In his spare time he enjoyed cars, stock car racing, and riding his motorcycle. George also served his country proudly in the Army Reserves.

Mr. Schiele is survived by his son, George (Andrea) Schiele, III; his grandchildren, Gabrielle & Christopher Schiele; his companion Dianne Kenney; and his sister, Judith Klein.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.  George was a devoted friend who made deep connections with other and some that spawned almost his whole life, with whom he shared memorable laughter and experiences.
