Gloria (Puleo) Genuardi, 99, of Worcester PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Meadowood Senior Living, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 11, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Francesco Marchione & Philomena (Bozzelli) Marchione, and the loving wife of 54 years to the late Dominic “Tom” Genuardi.
Gloria was a dedicated member of her community and contributed to many educational and charitable organizations. She was a longtime member of Holy Saviour Parish, Norristown, PA and Cedarbrook Country Club. She enjoyed traveling to many places such as China, Japan, Italy, Portugal, and spending the winters in Puerto Rico with her beloved husband. She was also known for her fantastic cooking, and her impeccable sense of fashion. Most of all she cherished the time she was able to spend with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be missed by many.
Gloria is survived by her three loving children, Dr. Joseph (Jean) Puleo, Dr. Sam (Terry) Puleo, and Frank (Lori) Puleo; three stepchildren, Barbara Genuardi, Dominic “Tom” (Janet) Genuardi, Jr., and Anthony Genuardi. Gloria is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Gloria was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph S. Puleo, MD; and five siblings, Ralph Marchione, Dena “Mary” Sciarra, Lucy Gambone, Daniel Marchione, and Frank Marchione, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation of Gloria on Thursday July 10, 2025 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St. Norristown, PA 19401. Mass will follow the visitation at 11:00AM. Committal services will take place in the St. Patrick Cemetery Mausoleum, East Norriton, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Gloria to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
