Helene Ann Venezia

Helene Ann (DeCicco) Venezia, 50, of Norristown on Monday, August 22, 2011, at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA. Born November 22, 1960 in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of Mary (Duggan) and Salvatore DeCicco. Mrs. Venezia was a former Norristown Boro employee in the code enforcement department for over 18 years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi parish, a graduate of the former Bishop Kenrick HS, class of 1978, enjoyed volleyball and softball, rescuing animals, and sun bathing in Maryland. Other hobbies she did were crocheting, sewing and stenciling clothing. In addition to her parents, survivors include her former husband, Rick Venezia, of Morgantown; 2 daughters: Gina Marie (Dan Wachter) Venezia and Chelsea A Venezia, both at home; sister, Machiell DeCicco, of Norristown; nieces Mia DeCicco and Samantha Scannapieco, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, August 27, 2011from 2 - 4 pm, at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA followed by services at 4 PM. Burial will be private at a later date.
