Hiedi Bender

Heidrun "Heidi" Bender, 69, of West Norriton, died at her residence on Thursday, August 16, 2012. Born August 15, 1943 in Wiesbaden, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Anna Liese (Schmidt) and Hermann Border, and wife of the late Erich Geser. A former Eagleville resident, she had been residing at the Jefferson Apartments for the past 10 years. When she was working, she was a waitress at the former Montgomery Inn and Crossroads Motel. She also enjoyed her grandchildren, babysitting them at least twice a week. Survivors include two sons: Rick Rappatone, of North Wales; Robert (Zinna) Coulter-Thurley, and their children Robert and Lola, of Schwenksville; and a sister, Astrid Freiberger, of Wiesbaden, Germany. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Silke Rappatone.
