James Petaccio, Jr. Obituary

James A. Petaccio, Jr., 56, of Truckee, CA died on Sunday, July 24, 2011, from complications of lung cancer. Born November 15, 1954 in Norristown, PA, he was the son of the late Margaret (Hertzog) and James A Petaccio, Sr. A former Norristown resident, growing up on Chain St., attending St. Francis of Assisi School, and graduating from the former Norristown Area High School, class of 73. He moved to the Lake Tahoe, CA area about 34 years ago and was in the heating/air conditioning repair and installation business and was also a well-known handymon to all his friends where he lived. He died 5 years to the date of his father. Survivors include daughter, Rachael; his granddaughter, Julianna; and siblings: Burton (Donna) Smith; Janice (David) Cusumano; Betty Ann (Sonny) Szotak; Margaret (Ed) Roach; and Regina (Chuck) Whitley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Anthony 'Tash' Petaccio; and the love of his life, Kimberly June. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 10 - 10:45 am, at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E Main St., Ntn., PA. His Memorial Mass will follow at 11 am. Entombment of his ashes will take place at a later date
