James Joseph Venezia, Sr.

James Joseph Venezia, Sr., 74 of Lansdale, PA on August 29, 2010 at Mercy Suburban Hospital, E. Norriton. Born October 6, 1935, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Santoni) Venezia. Born and raised in Norristown, he resided there until moving to Worcester 20 years ago. He was a successful business man who owned and operated "Little Jims" auto located in Norristown for over 50 years. Mr. Venezia spent much of his time with his son Jaime racing automobiles, hunting and listening to the music of his favorite singer Frank Sinatra. He is survived by his two sons, Jaime (Jennifer) Venezia, Jr.; Jim Picard; and one daughter Gina Krowka, 4 grandchildren, his brother-in-law James Bondi whom he loved like a brother and a niece Theresa (Dave) Leach who was like his daughter. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by one son Mark Picard and one sister Lillian Bondi. The family will recieve relatives and friends on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 PM and again on Friday morning from 8:30 to 9:15 AM from the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday at 9:30AM from Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St. Ntn., PA. Interment St. Patrick's Cem., E. Norriton., PA.
