Javon Angel Oyola

It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Javon Oyola of Allentown on 6/3/26. Javon was born on 3/24/11 and is the only beloved son of Angie Oyola and  Rae’Anna Faggins. Javon attended East Norriton middle school and Norristown Area high school where he met a host of friends.

Javon was an avid sports fan and talented athlete. He enjoyed playing sports such as football and basketball and always brought energy and determination to everything he did. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors with his friends fishing, biking, swimming, and riding motor scooters or playing games. Javon was also a surprisingly good cook and enjoyed preparing different meals for family and friends. 

In his spare time he aspired to be a barber and enjoyed quality time practicing on his friends and stepmom occasionally.  He also frequently attended the G.W. Carver community center he was a part of with his friends. Referred to by his friends as “Shmeat” he was known for his sense of humor and always being able to uplift and put a smiles on their faces. Javon was selfless, courageous, strong, brave, and nonjudgmental, always ready to listen or help without expecting anything in return. In his later years, he took an interest in health/nutrition, and enjoyed learning and doing electrical work with his uncle Louis whom he was excited to pick up the trade with again before he passed. Although his life was far too short, it was filled with love, laughter and unforgettable memories. His infectious smile brightened his mother’s days and the love he shared and people’s lives he touched will never be forgotten.

Javon leaves behind to cherish his memories, his sisters, Ajahnay Oyola, Arieyanna Oyola, Jazell Oyola, and Jamiyah Oyola; his step father, Daquan Perry; grandmother, Rosalee Carter; grandfather, Manuel Oyola; uncles, Louis Banks, Emanuel Banks, Alex Banks, Arsenio Oyola, Jerry Carter, Billy Carter, and Sharif Carter; aunts, Vanessa Coleman, Yvonne Bartolomei, Destiny Nelson, Rosalynn “Candy” Carter, Deatrice Carter, and Victoria Stubbs; and a host of cousins, family, and dear friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Javon on Thursday June 18, 2026 from 9:00AM-11:00AM at the Mt. Zion AME Church, 1312 Willow St. Norristown, PA 19401.  The funeral service for Javon will follow the viewing at 11:00AM.  Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery following the service.  A repast will be held at the conclusion of the committal services in memory of Javon at the George Washington Carver Community Center, 249 Jacoby St., Norristown, PA 19401.  Please visit www.CaramenicoFuneralHome.com for more information and to leave condolences.
