Jessalynn Walsh Obituary

Jessalynn (Smith) Walsh, 47, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday April 20, 2023 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born on January 25, 1976 in Norristown, she was the daughter of Jeannine (Clementi) & the late Daniel G. Smith, and the loving companion of Brian Jensen.

Jessalynn was a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, along with vocational school and graduated as a beautician. She would work for many years as a stylist before going on to own and operate her own salon "Curl Up or Dye" alongside her sister-in-law, Jaime.  Jessalynn was a devoted mother to her two children and was always there for them whenever they needed her. Jessalynn had a personality that would light up a room, even through her most difficult times, she always had a smile and would find the positive in any situation. In her spare time Jessalynn enjoyed traveling to LBI with her family, and taking trips on the boat with Brian whenever she had the opportunity; she also loved music, antique shopping at local flea markets, and collecting clocks. Jessalynn had a heart of gold and was the most sincere, kind, and generous person you would ever meet. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, no matter what the occasion and was always there to carry on family traditions which she held close to her heart. Jessalynn was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and a dear friend who will be missed by many.

In addition to her mother, Jessalynn is survived by her two loving children, Clodia, Brennalynn; Loving companion, Brian; One brother Daniel Smith, Jr.; Her beloved sister-in-law and business partner, Jaime Smith; Step son Stephen; Four nieces and nephews, Daniel, Carmelena, Luke, and Thomas; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, the Jensen's, and extended family.

Jessalynn was preceded in death by her father Daniel Smith.
