John Milano

John C. Milano, 73, of Eagleville, PA died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at University of PA Hospital, Philadelphia. Born May 4, 1939 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Maria (Cordova) and Vincent Milano, and husband of Grace (Freni) Milano. Mr. Milano was a member of Visitation BVM Church and longtime board and active member of the OSIA, LAM-Valley Forge Lodge #1776. He also belonged to the Lion's club years ago, and up until his death a 54 year employee of the Facenda-Whitaker Lanes where he was the operations manager. Family was very near and dear to him; he was the youngest and last survivor of 8 siblings and was a beloved uncle and surrogate father to his many nieces and nephews and extended family. Survivors include children: Melissa (Anthony) Marinello, and their sons Nicholas and Jack; Christopher (Tracy) Milano, and their children Christina and Matthew, of Pottstown; Lorieanne (Daniel) Taylor, of Conshohocken. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Frank, Vincent, Sadie, Joseph, Louis, Mary Grace, and Salvatore. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 6 - 8 pm at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA & Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 10 - 10:45 am, at Visitation BVM Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd., Trooper, PA 19403 followed by his funeral Mass at 11 am. Burial SS Peter & Paul Cem, 1600 S.Sproul Road, Springfield, Del. Co., PA. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the LAM-Valley Forge Lodge #1776, PO Box 60583, King of Prussia, PA 19406 please note Alzheimer's Assoc. in the memo line; and/or, American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Rd., Suite150, Blue Bell, PA 19422
