Joseph James Greco

Joseph James Greco, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday August 22, 2025, at the Manatawny Manor in Pottstown surrounded by his loving family.  Born on November 6, 1932, he was the son of the late Giuseppe “Joseph” Greco & Catherine Greco, and the devoted and beloved husband to Dolores (Pascucci) Greco for 69 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving children, David (Pamela Baines) Greco, Kathleen (The late Frank) Coll, Donna (Larry) Krieger, Joseph (Betty) Greco, and Chris (Tricia) Greco; 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, his two brothers; Michael (Barbara) Greco, James (Judy) Greco, two brother in laws Sonny (Lorraine) Pascucci and David (Debbie)Pascucci.  Joe is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Joe grew up in Conshohocken and Norristown. He worked for many years in the financial services, and banking industry, retiring from Household Finance Corporation. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954.  Joseph was a dedicated parishioner of the St. Teresa of Avila Parish, Norristown, PA, serving for many years as a volunteer of various church groups, as a Lector, Usher and Eucharistic Minister.  In his spare time Joe enjoyed golfing with his buddies. He was an avid sports fan, especially cheering for the Eagles and Phillies.  Joe and his wife enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe. They also hosted countless family and friends at their beach house in North Wildwood, NJ.   Joe’s most cherished times are those spent with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was proud and loved watching them participate in all their activities. He showed up.  He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be missed by many.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday September 5, 2025 at the Holy Saviour Church, 407 E.
