Joseph R. Russo

Joseph Robert Russo, 64, of Norristown passed away peacefully on Thursday June 29, 2023 at the Towne Manor East Nursing & Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his loving family.   Born on December 24, 1958 in Norristown he was a son of the late Albert & Carmella (Augustine) Russo.

Joseph was a kindhearted individual who was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need; he dedicated his time and generosity to many different organizations, and charities in his community. In his spare time Joseph loved listening to music, and was also an avid reader especially when it came to mystery & horror novels.  Joseph also enjoyed the occasional glass of red wine, going out with family and friends to local restaurants, and traveling to many different places whenever he had the opportunity.  But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his loving family.  Mr. Russo was a loving father, brother, uncle, and a dear friend to all those who had the pleasure of knowing him and he will be missed by many.

Joseph is survived by his two loving children, Christian (Bella)Russo, and Morgan (Jamie) Russo; Two brothers, Robert(Patricia) Russo, and Albert Russo; Two sisters, Charlotte (Louis) Steele, and Deborah Russo; One goddaughter, C. C. Mandarano; and his loving grandchild, Remy Russo.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Russo was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Russo.
