Josephine Ragusa

Josephine C. (DePolo) Ragusa, 75, of Norristown, PA on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Montgomery Hospital. Born April 9, 1935 in Bryn Mawr, PA she was the wife of James P. 'Snags' Ragusa and daughter of the late Phillip and Mary (Mungin) DePolo. Mrs. Ragusa was a retired employee of Sears, in their customer service department, a member of Holy Saviour Church, past president of the Mother's Club, where she also was past director of one of their musicals. She also enjoyed the casinos and traveling to Las Vegas, California, and especially Ocean City, NJ with her sisters. She had a special place for stray animals, and spending time with her granddaughters making biscotti's. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Mary Ann Ragusa, of Collegeville and Lee Ann (Steven) Mott, of San Diego, CA. granddaughters, Olivia & Lily Mott; sisters Bernice Caroselli, of Royersford, Judy Sandlin, of North Wales, and Phyllis Houck, of Conshohocken, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister Phyllis DePolo. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, April 15, 2010, 7 - 9 pm & Friday, April 16, 2010, 9:30 - 10:30 am at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA. Funeral Mass to follow at Holy Saviour Church at 11 AM. Entombment St. Patrick's Cemetery Mausoleum, Dekalb Pike, E. Norriton., PA. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St., Ntn., PA 19401 or Montgomery Hospice, 25 W. Wood St., Ntn., PA, 19401.
