Joyce (Krantz) Scott

Joyce (Krantz) Scott, 93,  Norristown passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Jefferson Einstein Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 19, 1932 in Bridgeport she was the daughter of the late Kathryn Krantz, and the beloved wife of the late Robert W. Scott, Jr.

Upon graduation from Bridgeport High School, she gained employment with the Philadelphia Electric Company where she met Bob.  They later married and she resigned and went on to become a homemaker.  After she raised her family she went on to work for the Norristown Area School District in the Food Services Department. In her spare time she enjoyed taking trips with her husband to Florida to attend the PGA golf tournaments, she also enjoyed taking occasional trips to the casino with her family and close friends. Joyce was also an avid bingo player and enjoyed spending time watching Fox News whenever she had the opportunity. But most of all she cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.

Joyce is survived by her loving children, Robert W. Scott, III, and Beth Ann (Bernie) Nagle. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Kristen (Andy) Pyles, and Andrew (Malerie) Nagle, and one great grandson, Carter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved husband.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Joyce on Friday January 23, 2026 from 9:30AM-11:00AM at the St. Titus Catholic Church, 3006 Keenwood Rd. East Norriton, PA. Mass will follow the viewing at 11:00AM at the church.  Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, East Norriton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Joyce to St. Titus Catholic Church, 3006 Keenwood Rd.
