Julia Carfagno

Julia (Biscotti) Carfagno, 90, formerly of Norristown, PA died June 17, 2010 at Brightfield Asst. living in East Norriton. Born November 16, 1919 in Bridgeport, PA, she was the wife of the late John Carfagno and daughter of the late Rose (Gesullo) and Joseph Biscotti. She was a longtime bowler at the Facenda-Whittaker Lanes, enjoyed traveling to the Atlantic City casinos, playing pinochle, cooking and spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Carmelita (George) Growcott, of Royersford; grandchildren, Anthony(Kimberly) Lannutti, Jr., of W Norriton; Laura (Scott) Wolfinger, of Telford; Nicholas (Renee) Lannutti, of Carlsbad, CA; Linda (Gregory) Weber, of Phoenixville; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters Josephine Boccelli, of Harleysville and Rose Marie (Ed) Salkowski, of Bridgeport. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son in law Anthony Lannutti, Sr. and siblings Mary Sandora, Charles Biscotti, Leonard Biscotti, Anthony Biscotti, Nicholas Biscotti, Mary Mullett, Anna Fulmer, Theresa DeStefano, John Biscotti, Joseph Biscotti, and Ronald Biscotti. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, June 21, 2010, from 9 - 10:45 am at the Caramenico FH Inc. Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA with funeral Mass at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E Main St., Ntn., PA at 11 AM. Interment St. Augustine Cemetery, Dekalb Pike, Upper Merion Twp., PA.
