Karen (Bates) Perri

Karen (Bates) Perri, 55 of Norristown passed away peacefully on Saturday November 30, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.  Born on May 22, 1969 in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Carl R. Bates, Jr. & Barbara (Sambrick) Bates, the loving wife of Keith Rosenberger, and the beloved mother of Rachel Mullins-Bates

Karen worked for many years in the Norristown community as a medical assistant until her retirement.  She dedicated countless hours donating her time and giving to others who were in need and would give the shirt off of her back. Karen was a loving, caring, selfless person and her generosity was unmatched. She was always there to welcome family and friends with open arms and was known for bringing everyone together to spend time as a family. Despite her medical conditions, Karen always found a way to bring positivity to every situation. But most of all she cherished the time she was able to spend with her loving family. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.

In addition to her beloved daughter, Karen is survived by her three stepchildren, Dalayna, Michael, and Alicia Rosenberger; two siblings, Stephen (Christine) Bates, and Carl (Maria) Bates; Karen is also survived by her loving nieces & nephews, Stephanie Bates, Stacy Bates, Anthony (Lisa) Bates, Nick Bates, and Tiffany (Bryant) Doner.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Karen on Saturday December 14, 2024 from 9:00AM -11:00AM at the St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 2007 New Hope St. Norristown, PA 19401. Her funeral mass will follow the viewing at 11:00 AM at the church.  Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Karen to the Stargardt's Disease Foundation For Fighting Blindness, P.O.
