Kathleen Louise Howe

Kathleen Louise Howe, 83, of Norristown, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 16, 1943, in Lansdale, she was the daughter of the late Dana and Evelyn (Ludwig) Miller, and the beloved wife of the late Stanley Robert Howe.

Kathleen was a kind and selfless woman who would truly give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She loved vacationing in Barnegat Light, New Jersey, where many cherished family memories were made. Kathleen also had a passion for baking and took special pride in decorating Christmas wreaths during the holiday season, creating traditions her family will carry on for years to come.

Kathleen’s love for plants and flowers began in her youth while working alongside her parents and brother in the family business, Ardent Nursery. She remained devoted to the business for many years, until it eventually closed, and it continued to hold a special place in her heart as a source of cherished family memories.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Bitting (Jim Bitting); adopted daughter, Carla Talbert; brother, Sandy Miller (Cindy Miller); and her cherished grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Lemashov (Rei Lemashov), Jes Roberts (Dustin MacKenzie), Zack Talbert, Joe Bitting, Ian Roberts, Cole Bitting, Aaron Roberts, and Haily Garis.

In addition to her parents and beloved husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Renee.
