Kurtis Wayne Ronto, 63, of Royersford, PA passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 6, 1963, in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Eugene & Beverly J. (née Riker) Ronto.
Kurtis dedicated 23 years to his career at Integer in Collegeville, PA. He was incredibly proud of the work he did laser welding to produce medical tubing. Kurtis was always up to the challenge of learning something new, especially if it meant helping a friend or his community in the process. It was this drive that led him to become a man of many trades, taking on everything from roofing, auto body repair, bartending, cleaning, inventory, to carpentry based projects. In his spare time Kurtis loved spending time with his family, especially his beloved granddaughter, Adeline and his best four-legged friend, Brownie. He loved sharing a good meal or enjoying a treat with those he cared for. Kurtis was also an avid outdoorsman and collector who enjoyed his truck, motorcycle, fishing, hunting, knife collecting, and coin collecting whenever he had the opportunity. Kurtis was also involved in many community groups and organizations such as the Spring City American Legion Post 602, VFW, Royersford Fire Department, Pike Township Sportsmen's Association, and the Lower Pottsgrove Sportsman's Association. But most of all, Kurtis cherished the time he was able to spend with his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be missed by many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Kelly J. Ronto, his aunt Janet Kornoski, and his uncle Jim Riker. Left to cherish Kurtis’s memory are his loving daughter Brittany Ronto (Jeffrey Hayes) and granddaughter Adeline Hayes of Blackwood, NJ; nephew Cody Casmay of Douglassville, PA; uncles and aunts Brad Riker (Sharon) of Boise, ID, David Delaney of Limerick, PA, John Delaney (Susan) of Royersford, PA, Joyce Friestad of Reno, NV, Jacqueline Trego (Ralph) of Audubon, NJ, and Patricia Wood of Reno, NV; and many extended family members and close friends.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Penn Medicine Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Kurtis’s final days. Family and friends are invited to attend the celebration of life for Kurtis on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 602, 27 N. Main St. Spring City, PA 19475. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Caramenico Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 403 E. Main St, Norristown, PA 19401.
