Lena Fuschetto

Pasqualena "Lena" (Pellechia) Fuschetto, 85, of Norristown passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her family. Born December 6, 1927, in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Katherine (Dieciedue) and Anthony Pellechia, and wife of the late John " Johnny Bull" Fuschetto, who died in 2009. She was a life long member of Holy Saviour Church and graduated from Norristown HS. She worked in retail sales at the W.T. Grants; cashiered for the A & P Food Market; cafeteria at the former Rittenhouse School; and retired from Vested Gentry Dress factory as a shipper.She loved cooking and baking and being with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include 3 children: Mary DelVecchio, John J. (Diane) Fuschetto, Jr., and Diane (Patrick) Carlomagno, all of Norristown; 6 grandchildren: Damien and Maria Fuschetto, Annette (DelVecchio) (Brandon) Smith, James DelVecchio, Dana and Kathryn Carlomagno; 4 great-grandchildren: John A. Fuschetto, Dominic and Giovanni Angelo, and Gabriella Smith; siblings: Vince (Joanne) Pellechia, of Scottsdale, AZ, Peter (Toni) Pellechia and Marie Pellechia, both of Norristown; sisters in law: Julia Pellechia, of Norristown, Wilma (Reno) Salomone, of King of Prussia, PA, and Olivia Melle, of CA. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Pellechia. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 6 - 8 pm & Monday, April 30, 2012 from 8:30 - 9:15 am, at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Streets, Ntn, PA. Her funeral Mass from Holy Saviour Church, 407 E Main St., Ntn., PA will follow at 9:30 am. Burial St. Patrick's Cem., DeKalb Pike, E. Norriton, PA. The family would appreciate memorial contributions be made in her memory to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, 1787 Sentry Park Way West, Bldg. 46 Suite 400, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
