Leonard F Villanova, Sr.

Leonard F. Villanova, Sr., 73, on Saturday, February 19, 2011, at, his residence surrounded by his family. Born April 15, 1937 in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Florence (Ciprero) and Leon Villanova, and husband of Rosalie (Freeland) Villanova. Mr. Villanova was a longtime Bridgeport resident from the Rebel Hill area. He was heavily involved in scouting with the Valley Forge Council for over 30 years and was a retired commissioner. He retired from Unisys where he was a material handler and was a Marine Corp veteran. Survivors include his mother in law, Alyce Freeland of Trooper, PA; and children: F. Mark (E Susan) Villanova of King Of Prussia, PA; Leonard F. (Karen) Villanova, Jr. of Trappe, PA; A. Naomi (Michael) Crocker of Trooper, PA; grandchildren: Sean, Blade, and Trevor Villanova, and Kirsten & David Wilde: siblings: Edward (Nancy) Villanova of Phoenixville, PA; Antoinette Tulone of AZ; Elizabeth Francis of Chester, PA; Emma (Richard) Schafer of Trooper, PA; Leonara Ostrosky of DE; and Norma Gravinese of Roxborough, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Paul Villanova. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thurs. Feb. 24, 2011 9:30 - 10:30 am at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA. Funeral Mass at St Teresa of Avila, S. Parkview Dr. & S. Trooper Rd. Betzwood, PA to follow at 11 am. Burial in Gulph Christian Cem, W. Conshohocken, PA.
