Linda Sue Jeszkonis

Linda Sue Jeszkonis, 74, of Norristown passed away peacefully on Sunday August 18, 2024

at the Complete Care at Berkshire Nursing & Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 24, 1949 in Shenandoah PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael Sr. & Leona (Karas) Jeszkonis.

 Linda worked for many years in the chemical industry for Union Carbide, PQ Corporation and would later go on to work as a chemist in the pharmaceutical industry for The West Pharmaceutical Services until her retirement.  Linda Sue was devoted to her work and was always willing to help those around her. In her spare time, Linda Sue also has a love for animals and would donate to the local animal shelters as well as the SPCA whenever she had the opportunity.   But most of all Linda Sue cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and preparing holiday & Sunday dinners.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and a dear friend, to all who had the pleasure of knowing her, and she will be missed by many.

Linda is survived by her son, Joseph Sambrick; one sister Sharon Lee Catagnus; and four beloved grandchildren, Hunter, Matthew, Thomas, and Emily. Along with her niece Sharon Victoria, nephew Anthony and all their children.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Michael F. Jeszkonis, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Linda Sue on Thursday August 22, 2024 from 9:30AM-11:00AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church, 600 Hamilton St. Norristown, PA 19401. Linda Sue’s funeral mass will follow the calling time at 11:00AM at the church. Burial will take place in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Shenandoah, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Linda Sue to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike P.O. Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
