Margaret J. “June“ Ferreri, 90, of Douglassville and formerly of Norristown passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at the Riddle Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 9, 1933 in Norristown she was the daughter of the late William & Mary Anna (Kline) Bailey, and wife of the late William Ferreri.
While raising 4 children, June worked many jobs in Bridgeport, King of Prussia, and North Coventry. She was employed by Minters Candles, Merle Norman, and Sears. In her spare time June loved cooking and baking for fundraisers at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Bridgeport, United Church of Christ in Daytona Beach, and at her last residence which was the Keystone Villas at Douglassville. Even with her declining health she still loved to FaceTime her grandchildren; June never stopped having fun and continued to play canasta, shuffleboard, and attend plays whenever she had the opportunity. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.
June is survived by her loving children, William (Madge) Ferreri, Thomas (Andrew) Ferreri, Michael (Jaylee) Ferreri, and Patricia (Dennis) Knorr; June is also survived by many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, James “Big Jim” Bailey, William “Buster” Bailey, Jack Bennett, and Catherine “May” Bennett.
Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial services for June on Saturday August 12, 2023 from 1:00PM - 3:00PM at the Caramenico Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. A service and words of remembrance will follow the calling time at the funeral home at 3:00PM. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
