Marian Beale

Marian W. Beale, 92, of Ambler, Pennsylvania died Thursday, November 22, 2012. Born December 12, 1919 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Agnes W. (Doyle) and John Byrne, and the wife of the late Charles Beale, who died in 1995. Mrs. Beale was a member of the Colony Club of Ambler, the Fort Washington Historical Society and St. Joseph's Church Choir. She spent many years as the librarian at St. Joseph's Elementary School, which she greatly enjoyed. Her hobbies included swimming and reading historical biographies. Survivors include children: Charles Beale and Michael Beale, of Ambler; Maryann Beale, of Lansdale; and Eileen (Nicholas Pinto) Beale, D.O., of Blue Bell; grandchildren: Caitlin, Anthony, Maureen and Patrick Magdalinski; and, brother, John Byrne, of Cherry Hill, NJ. Her Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, S. Main and Poplar Streets, Ambler, Pennsylvania. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 - 9:50 A.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Our Lady of Mercy Elementary School, c/o the Library, 29 Conwell Drive, Maple Glen, PA 19002. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA will be held at a later time at the convenience of the family.
