Marie T. (Couchara) Milito

Marie T. (Couchara) Milito, 85 of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Monday December, 4, 2023 at the Einstein Hospital Montgomery after a courageous and resilient battle with numerous health issues over the last decade.  Born on January 26, 1938 in Norristown she was the daughter of the late Philip & Josephine (Bilella) Couchara.

Marie was born and raised in Norristown and worked for many years as  toll booth operator for the Turnpike Commission before her retirement in 2006.  Marie was also a dedicated parishioner of the Holy Saviour Church where she would attend mass regularly.  In her spare time Marie loved to cook meals for her family and friends, and you could always find her meticulously tending to her garden.  Marie also enjoyed her occasional trips to the beach with family and friends, but most of all she loved her trips to the casino whenever she had the opportunity.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Jodi (Salvatore) Spera; Granddaughter, Taylor (Claudio) Caslinuovo; Great grandsons, Carson & Giovanni; She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews who she enjoyed spending time with.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her siblings, Vincent (Elaine) Couchara, and Anna R. (Bill) Conners.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass for Marie on Monday December 11, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St. Norristown PA 19401.
