Mary Fazio

Mary (Caramenico) Fazio of Collegeville, PA, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 at Montgomery Hospital after a short illness. She was 84. Born in Norristown, she was the wife of the late Lawrence M. Fazio, Sr. who died this past February, and daughter of the late Rose (Petaccio) and Justin Caramenico. She attended Norristown area schools, and was involved with her late husband and children in their family business, Fazio Vending., which operated from 1950 thru 2007. Surviving are children: Peter (Joy) Fazio, Rosemary (Frank) Monastero, and Kathie Fazio, all of East Norriton; 7 grandchildren: Lisa Monastero, Jim Monastero, Peter Fazio, Meredith Andrews, Daniel Fazio, Mary Kay Planchard, Susan Fazio; 5 great grandchildren: Gianna Monastero, Zachary Planchard, Katie Rose Planchard, Joseph Fazio, Matthew Fazio. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son Lawrence M. Fazio, Jr. in 2007. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, Dec. 5, 2008 from 9:30 - 10:45 AM at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA. Funeral Mass to follow at 11 AM from Holy Saviour Church, 407 E Main Street, Norristown, PA. Entombment St. Patrick's Cemetery Mausoleum, Dekalb Pike, E. Norriton, PA.
