Matthew Russo

Matthew F. Russo, age 24, of Plymouth Meeting, PA, died suddenly December 10, 2008. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of Bonnie (Morgan) Russo of Plymouth Meeting and Frank H. (Carolyn) Russo of Collegeville. Mr. Russo graduated from Kennedy Kenrick HS, class of 2002 and the Gwynedd Mercy College, class of 2006 with a degree in Computer Science. He was also an artist, enjoyed nature, reading and philosphy. He also enjoyed all aspects of politics, especially reading and debating issues, and was also an Obama supporter. In addition to his mother, father, and stepmother, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Sadie (Triglia) Morgan, Piggott, AR; sister Morgan Russo, Plymouth Meeting; stepsiblings: Julia Tuzzi, NC, Anthony Frederick, Sarasota, FL, and Basilo "Joe" Frederick, King of Prussia, PA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Vernon Morgan, and paternal grandparents Gus J. and Catherine (Tornetta) Russo. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, December 13, 2008 10:30 am - 12:15 pm at the Caramenico Funeral Home, Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA. Memorial services will follow at 12:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Best Buddies - Penn State. c/o 908 Holly Court, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462, a mentoring and job opportunity organization established by the Kennedy and Schriver familes.
