Matthew M. Ottaviano

Matthew M. Ottaviano, 50, of Norristown passed away peacefully on Friday December 13, 2024 at the Einstein Medical Center Montgomery surrounded by his loving family.  Born on September 6, 1974 in Norristown he was the son of the late Andrew & Joan Ottaviano.

Matthew was a dedicated employee and devoted countless hours to his craft as a machinist for the EW Yost Company where he worked for over 20 years. In his spare time Matthew was an avid outdoorsman, and never missed an opportunity to hunt or fish. He would also take numerous deep sea fishing trips out on his boat with his family and friends.  Matthew was a loving and caring person with a heart of gold and his generosity was unmatched. He was always there to welcome family and friends with open arms or was quick with a joke to brighten someone’s day. But most of all he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family, he was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him and he will be missed by many. 

Matthew is survived by his loving son, Dillon Ottaviano, and his mother Wendy Stamm; his sister, Rachel (Matthew) Milleo; two nieces, Mia, and Gianna Milleo; two aunts, Ines “Honey” Bawbuniak, and Janet (Barry) McNamara; his beloved companion, Dana DelPizzo; and many loving cousins and extended family.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Matthew on Tuesday evening December 17, 2024, from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Caramenico Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 403 E. Main St. Norristown, PA 19401.  A viewing will also be held on Wednesday December 18, 2024 from 10:00AM-10:45AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church, 601 Buttonwood St. Norristown, PA. 19401. Mass will follow the calling time at 11:00AM at the church.  Burial will take place in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, East Norriton.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Matthew to the Dillon Ottaviano Education Fund, please remit checks to 403 E.
